America turns 250. Nevada has always been all in.
In 1864, the United States needed Nevada more than Nevada needed statehood. The silver and gold pulled from these mountains bankrolled the Union through the Civil War — Nevada's wealth helped turn the tide of American history. So when it came time to join the Union, Nevada didn't hesitate. We sent our state constitution by telegraph — the longest telegram ever transmitted — because the nation needed us before the election and we weren't going to miss it.
Our motto said everything: All for our Country.
They called us the Battle Born State. We earned it.
160 years later, America celebrates 250 years of independence. This shirt is Nevada's way of marking both — the country we helped save, and the state that was born in the fire of that fight.
